Alexander Ege

Programme Director

Alexander is responsible for KR Foundation´s work on sustainable finance, international climate governance, trade and related areas. As Programme Director, Alexander takes care of the grant-making process for the Fossil Fuel Subsidy and Divest/Invest priority areas, and develops strategic initiatives within these themes.

Alexander is an expert in advocacy and international climate policy, with a Master´s degree in international development studies and EU studies, and almost 10 years´ experience in the non-profit and the public sector as a policy advisor and coordinator. Alexander has held positions at (inter alia) CARE, ActionAid, Climate Action Network and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As an experienced policy advisor, Alexander has had interactions with decision-makers on all levels in Denmark, the EU and the UN.
